Devlog 0 - Thank you for playing HeroInc

Huge thanks to everyone who played HeroInc! 🙌

I originally joined the game jam just to try my hand at the incremental genre. To my surprise, I realized during the process that I absolutely love developing this style of game! 🛠️

I’ve played incremental games before, but recently, the "limited resource" mechanics in games like NodeBuster really caught my attention. I wanted to try that approach myself, and the jam was the perfect excuse to bring it to life with the "Hero's Way" theme.

What’s next? While the core loop seems to be landing well (thank you!), there is still a lot to do. 🚧 I’m planning to add:

• Balance changes ⚖️
• General improvements
• Fresh content around the core mechanics

I took a little break after the jam, but I’m back now. I’ll be sharing regular updates from here on out. Stay tuned to see what we can build! 🚀
